PA Enrollment Services: Helping people with Medical Assistance choose a health plan and a doctor.

To enroll, you choose a health plan and a doctor. Enroll on line, by phone, or by mail. You can enroll if you have Medical Assistance and, either you were told by your County Assistance Office to enroll, or you got an enrollment packet in the mail.

Enroll right away! If you don’t enroll, a health plan and a doctor (PCP) will be chosen for you. Please do not let that happen!

Health plan changes in some counties!

Are you about to choose a health plan? Or, do you want to switch to a new plan? Please read about the changes below.

Keystone Mercy Health Plan is now only open to current members:

1. If you are on Keystone Mercy Health Plan now, you can stay on Keystone Mercy.
2. If you have Keystone Mercy now and you switch to another health plan, you will not be able to change back to Keystone Mercy Health Plan at this time.
3. If you are pregnant and on Keystone Mercy Health Plan when you have your baby, your baby will automatically be on Keystone Mercy.
4. If you are already on Keystone Mercy Health Plan, anyone added to your household who is new to Medical Assistance will automatically be on Keystone Mercy.
5. If you are on Keystone Mercy Health Plan and:
   • lose Medical Assistance eligibility, but
   • come back on Medical Assistance within 6 months, you will
   • automatically go back on Keystone Mercy Health Plan.
6. You can enroll in the Keystone Mercy Health Plan if you live in Delaware County, you are pregnant, and you are on Medical Assistance for the first time. Please call 1-800-440-3989 to enroll.

Gateway Health Plan is no longer a choice in certain counties:

If you are new to Medical Assistance or want to switch plans, you cannot choose Gateway Health Plan if you live in these counties: Cambria, Somerset, Franklin, Clarion, Jefferson, Schuylkill, Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Northumberland, Pike, Columbia, Mercer, Montour, Susquehanna and Wyoming. (These are counties in the Voluntary Managed Care regions.)
