Welcome to the Pennsylvania Enrollment Services Webinar Series. The August 9th, 2022, webinar will be The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). TEFAP is a federal program that provides emergency food and nutrition assistance to low-income individuals and households at no cost. The program is administered in Pennsylvania through the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, which distributes commodity foods to local agencies that serve the public (for example, food banks). The lo9cal agencies then deliver the food to eligible residents or use it to prepare and serve meals to the public. Welcome to the Pennsylvania Enrollment Services Webinar Series. The September 13, 2022, webinar will be the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps families living on low incomes pay their heating bills in the form of a cash grant. Households in immediate danger of being without heat can also qualify for crisis grants. The cash grant is a one-time payment sent directly to the utility company/fuel provider to be credited on your bill.
